Sokolovskoe Iron Mine, Rudny, Kostanany Province (Kostanai Oblast’), Kazakhstan
Small, gemmy yellow stilbites grow among rhombohedrons of pink to salmon colored chabazite. This is an unusual colored specimen combination. As it has grown over fingerlings of iron sulfide and chalcopyrite. While most stilbite and chabazite are produced in India, zeolites from other areas of the world have interesting variations such as this. There is damage to the edges, but overall this is a large and interesting piece.
