Description
Otjua Mine, Otjua Farm 37, Karibib District, Erongo Region, Namibia
A really interesting, older combination specimen from the well-known Otjua pegmatites of Namibia. Green tourmaline crystals are aesthetically embedded and extend from a lustrous, frosted, translucent, doubly terminated, light smoky quartz crystal. Quartz is a relatively uncommon mineral from Otjua, which enhances the quality of this piece. The back lit photo shows that the gemmy, translucent tourmaline body varies from green to bottle-green yellow.
