From the famous Rocket Pocket of Pederneira, this tourmaline is an exceptionally large example. It has the classic steep and sharp termination that resembles a rocket nose. It is gemmy and holds its color in daylight and takes an on an out of this world glow with spotlighting. It has a rubellite core surrounded by shades of Kelly green and blue green. It has accessory crystals at the bottom with contrasting white cleavelandite and small groups of pink to purple lepidolite. This is a stunning piece and commands attention in any environment. A few repairs, like most Pederneira Mine pieces.
