Francisco Mine, Teofilo Otoni Mucuri Valley, Minas Gerais, Brazil
A really interesting form of topaz is from the older Brazil finds in Teofilo Otoni. This crystal is doubly terminated with both top and bottom showing a six-sided pinacoid (flat) top with complete beveling around it on the top and partial beveling on the bottom. One side of the crystal is showing the deep V face while the other is more complexly crystallized. A neat piece and great for its interesting form.
