Description
Nasik District, Maharashtra, India
Well-formed crystals of white stilbite are pearly and form amongst formations of tiny apophyllite crystals. The contrast of the pearlescent sheen of the stilbite combines with the sparkle and twinkle of the apophyllite for a really pretty piece. The piece formed in vesicular basalt – the crystals grew in a gas bubble that formed in cooling lava.
