Radhausberg, Kreuzkogel Massif, Gastein Valley, Hohe Tauern, Salzburg, Austria
White crystals of stilbite form on a small plate with pearly luster and are a great locality piece. From the Gastein Valley in Austria, not much stilbite was ever found in this mountainous area. This piece was collected prior to 1964 and was in the collections of Shortmann’s, J. Cilen, and William Metropolis and comes with the associated cards and notes.
