Description
Minerva No. 1 Mine, Harris Creek Sub-District, Hardin County, Illinois, USA
This is a fluorite from the Minerva No. 1 mine. This specimen is high quality, exquisite blue fluorite. It shows the classic minerva petroleum inclusions in the center phantom of the specimen. The center phantom goes from deep yellow to purple and then to blue. The rear of it is a disillusion structure indicating the crystal was formed in sections. There is complete internal clarity. There is a fracture that goes through the center and the outside corners show wear, but overall elegant specimen.
