Description
Shigar Valley, Skardu District, Baltistan Gilgit-Baltistan (Northern Areas), Pakistan
Two attractive and isolated spessartite garnets are gemmy and complex. They rest with clear quartz points and tiny black schorl tourmalines. The garnets have a nearly iridescent luster and have softer edges due to wide, shallow bevels of the crystal edges. The garnets are undamaged, but there is edge damage on the periphery of the piece as it was taken off of the rock.
