Lustrous and well terminated smoky quartz crystals have formed among bright yellow stilbites. The matrix is of feldspar, giving a white contrast to the gray brown and yellow colored crystals. The stilbites take a classic bow tie form. (Also know as the wheat sheath form, but who today sheaths wheat anymore…?) There are some areas of wear, but overall is a great and pretty piece from this historic locality.
