An absolutely stunning and large plate of smithsonite, this piece is truly unique. Although well known for its azurites and malachites, Touissit, Morocco has only very sparingly produced smithsonite and this piece is the most beautiful I have seen. It has completely wet look luster and light gleams and glides over the surface of the rounded, yet detailed crystals. The colors of yellow, orange, and burnt umber are unique and the interaction of the color hues and luster in light is something to behold.
