An unusual sulfide, semseyite is a lead antimony sulfide that contains sheets of galena within its structure. The thickness of these internal galena sheets determines if the mineral is semseyite (thick sheets) or fuloppite (thin sheets). This pieces shows the unusual twisting of the semseyite crystals into radiating formations that rest on top of crystals of the more common sphalerite and galena suflides. A really unusual piece with great classic habit from the type locality.
