Stoneco White Rock Quarry, Clay Center, Ottawa County, Ohio, USA
A large specimen of the famous root beer fluorite from the Clay Center, Ohio find in 2007- 2008, shows great clarity and luster- especially for the locality. It glows with autumnal colors in yellows, oranges, and browns. It has a nice stepped growth pattern resulting in tiny squares all around the piece. It rests on top of white celestine crystals and comes with a custom base.
