Goboboseb Mountains /Brandberg Area, Daures, Erongo Region, Namibia
This is a truly beautiful prehnite when appreciated for its delicate details. At first glance, it is a pretty light green cluster of spheres with shining luster. Closer consideration shows the fine, repetitive micro crystallizations that compose the spheres and give a fractal and symmetric pattern. The crystals seem to be marching their individual ways around the spheres. How this crystallized in this biological type pattern I find truly mind boggling. The specimen has minor scuffing but no major damage.
