Description
Pune District, Maharashtra, India
Peach stilbites perch on a coral like blue (or bluish-green) chalcedony with and intricate and sculptural form. The stilbites are peach bowties and have the nice “wet appearing” luster of the best stilbites. The close observer will also notice clear apophyllite crystals, which host tiny inclusions of the chalcedony. The piece is undamaged except on the bottom and the back which were taken off of the rock.
