While topaz is common in many places in the world, this piece shows an ultra rare pink color zone in a bright orange crystal giving it a “padparadscha” effect. This piece has a prismatic termination and gemmy quality. This imperial topaz shows the internal sparks and shimmers that make these so prized and unique. The bottom has been cleaved off, but that does not take anything away from this gem specimen.
