A well crystallized galena shows cubes, modified cubes, and interpenetrant twinning amongst its large and small crystals. The piece is crystallized all the way around and show various characteristics from different angles. One angle shows of a sizeable dominant cube which has a completely crystallized negative impression of a previous crystal (a contact). It has a matte luster and under unusual elongated crystals. The other side shows smaller crystals with a modified and twinned habit. These crystals are silvery and metallic. Overall, the piece is undamaged with some areas of contact. Please note that for its size, this piece is very heavy.
