Chumar Bakhoor, Nagar, Hunza Valley, Gilgit District Gilgit-Baltistan (Northern Areas), Pakistan
This beautiful piece of fluorite hosts pretty pastel colors of pinks and greens with a nice form, great clarity, and interesting habit. From the Chumar Bakhoor locality known for its spinel law twinning of crystals and floaters, this is a very large piece with great crystal habit. Many areas show parallel crystal faces while other areas are smooth. The pink and green colors are striking next to each other and this is a very eye catching piece. There are small booklets of muscovite mica. The specimen has some minor chipping which is in no way distracting from this large and amazing specimen.
