Description
Denton Mine, Harris Creek Sub-District, Hardin County, Illinois, USA
This is a multi-colored fluorite on sphalerite from the Denton mine. The fluorites are highly lustrous, almost glass-like. They have an amazing internal clarity with colors and phantoms in blues, purples and deep yellows. The fluorites sit on a bed of sphalerite which shows a deep red color and fine, detail crystallization. The fluorites have a couple minor dings that do not detract from the overall attractiveness of the specimen.
