Description
Savada, Dharangaon Taluka, Jalgaon District, Maharashtra, India
This is a superb fluorapophyllite from India’s Deccan Traps District. This is an extremely gemmy apple green cluster of fluorapophyllite crystals, with high clarity and luster. It is associated with chalcedony, which seems to be holding this piece together. The structure is well formed with doubly terminated crystals and pinacoid’s. The crystals are translucent and clear. This is a top quality, and most desirable specimen. There are some cleaves on the bottom of the piece, but the top and upward facing crystals are intact with sharp terminations for a dramatic display.
