Description
Ojuela Mine, Mun. de Mapimí, Mapimí, Durango, Mexico
Much rarer than typical non copper bearing adamite, cuprian adamite hosts a great teal color. This piece features small, nearly octahedral crystals which are lustrous and gemmy. They are contrasted by a layer of dark gossan which is itself hosted within a limonite matrix of varying shades of reddish brown.
