A fantastic cinnabar specimen features etremely sharp crystals terminated with the classic “drill bit” habit, coming to a sharp central point. They are gemmy red with a metallic luster and reach up to 1.5 cm for individual crystals. They have formed with a very rare rhodochrosite association which is seen as softer red toward the bottom of the piece. Both of these are surrounded with small prismatic clear quartz crystals and sprays as well a creamy rhombohedrons of dolomite. This is a great piece with high coverage of quality cinnabar crystals
