Description
Mibladen Mining District, Midelt Province, Drâa-Tafilalet Region, Morocco
From J. Cilen’s collection, this cerussite stands out as being outstandingly aesthetic and unusually formed. The bottom of the specimen is a sharp v-twin. Which is connected to one very large and very well formed crystal. This locality is well known for producing smaller, reticulated structures the snowflake pieces. This specimen is unique as it offers an amazingly complex series of larger structures with intricate, highly detailed crystallization on the flat surfaces and terminations of the crystals. This specimen has a yellow color, which is more or less intense based on the angle of view and the color of lighting. It also has a high glossy luster, which is perfect to highlight and view the intricacies of the crystallization.
