Description
Savada, Dharangaon Taluka, Jalgaon District, Maharashtra, India
Wow is this a pretty piece! A good-sized calcite has sunny yellow color, a melted etched look, and is doubly terminated. It has a halo of white stilbite crystals surrounding it, and gem crystals of blue green apophyllites. The apophyllites have spiculated ends and peek out from the bottom and top. There appears to also be a small patch of rounded white mordenite on the surface. All around, this is a great example of the beautiful minerals of India.
