From the Sterling Mine in Colorado, this classic piece of barite has the blue gray color. It shows wedge terminated crystals the area is known for producing. A soft translucency and coloring show off the crystals which appear to stand next to each other while displaying variations on the classic terminations. This locality has produced some of the most classic and easily recognizable Barite specimens from anywhere in the United States.
