Sterling Mine, Stoneham, Weld County, Colorado, USA
Two crystals of translucent, light blue barite are arranged in parallel and are from the finds at the Sterling Mine in Stoneham, Colorado. The terminations are the classic chisel formation. The steely blue color is dramatic and easily recognizable as classic for this older locale. Likely mined around 1990.
