A large and intact plate of azurite from the classic Bisbee locale in Arizona. Historically important as a copper mine, large and beautiful specimens from here are rare and difficult to find without significant damage. This piece has beautiful formations of intact and shining azurite which make swirls of color of curving tabular crystals. The azurites combine with minor malachite and limonite matrix is evident on the reverse.
