Description
Marijao Pegmatite, Ankazobe District, Analamanga Region, Antananarivo Province, Madagascar
The best example ever found of an aquamarine cluster from Marijao Pegamite Field in Madagascar, this specimen has the deepest blue color of aquamarine possible. The cluster shows great form and structure and is truly remarkable a stone. This cluster was mined without the sophisticated mining techniques that are used in many commercial areas of the world and highlights the care and effort required to recover this piece. The composition is dramatic and it has high clarity and luster. The terminations are widely beveled and the longer crystal separates into multiple terminations.
