An absolutely superb miniature is a complete floater of tabular apatites in a faden type formation. The crystals individually are in the tabular hexagonal form and graduate from larger crystals in the center to smaller crystals at the ends. There are long needles of green byssolite inclusions that run throughout the piece. Not much apatite was found from this mountainous area, and this is a rare and fantastic example. I did confirm that this is apatite with refractive index and spectroscopy.
