This is an impressive Las Vigas amethyst specimen. The color is outstanding going from colorless at the base of the crystals up to an intense rich purple at the tips. Las Vigas specimens feature an appealing purple color, outstanding transparency, glassy luster, and typically form extremely aesthetic crystal clusters. Furthermore, the intense purple crystals are set off against the contrasting matrix, which is why they are highly sought after!
