Description
Ojuela Mine, Mapimí, Mun. de Mapimí, Durango, Mexico
A great example of adamite from Ojuela Mine in Mexico shows bright neon chartreuse color from all sides. Spherical aggregates of adamite form in multiple sizes over a thin layer of rust colored limonite gossan matrix. This has multiple interesting display angles and has a sculptural quality rivaling the best modern art. The specimen has no notable damage. It is a large example of this classic locality and has more crystal coverage than the typical piece.
