Yugawaralite is a very rare member of the zeolite group of minerals. A monoclinic mineral containing aluminum, calcium, hydrogen, oxygen, and silicon. It forms flat monoclinic tabular transparent to translucent colorless to white crystals, often nearly parallel in groups. Yugawaralite occurs as crystals lining cavities, typically deposited in active geothermal areas.
